LayerOne Expands VPS Capacity and Features

Hello LET! LayerOne has increased its capacity and is extending that availability to the LET community. The expanded VPS range covers 1GB–8GB RAM, while several platform updates have arrived since the provider's previous thread.

New Features and Improvements

  • Private networking: Connect LayerOne VPS servers through private LANs, allowing server-to-server communication without traversing the public network.
  • Per-VM firewalls: Add and manage firewall rules for individual VPS servers directly in the LayerOne panel.
  • Floating IPs: Create floating IP addresses and move them between servers whenever needed. They are billed hourly and may be removed at any time.
  • PTR and rDNS management: Configure PTR records directly from the Network tab in the LayerOne panel.
  • New usage graphs: Monitor server resource and bandwidth consumption together on one convenient screen.
  • Shared bandwidth pool: Every account begins with 2,000GB of included bandwidth. Each additional VPS deployed adds another 500GB to the shared pool.
  • 2.5Gbps networking: All plans include 2.5Gbps networking by default. LayerOne has also introduced new 10Gbps network-optimized plans.
